My primary goal as a journalist is to turn complex topics like science and technology into digestible stories that empower everyday people to take charge of their lives - and make meaningful change.
As a reporter for KJZZ - Phoenix’s NPR member station - I honed my expertise on my core beats of science and technology. I also demonstrated my versatility by contributing to major station-wide coverage, including our reporting on the 2024 federal and local elections.
My passion for diving deep into long-term investigative work led me to the Carnegie-Knight News21 fellowship. As a fellow, I joined a national team investigating the state of American democracy, where my reporting focused on the effects of artificial intelligence and its use in disinformation campaigns.
When I’m not chasing a story, you can usually find me stargazing, riding my OneWheel, or behind the camera looking for an interesting shot.
