New York City (May 2023)

It’s not a joke. The city really doesn’t sleep.

I was visiting New York City for the Chelsea Challenge, a hockey tournament put on by the NYC Gay Hockey Association.

On the morning we arrived in the city, my friends and I chose to go climb a skyscraper in Hudson Yards, resulting in this view.

In between game days, we also visited the Statue of Liberty and I got the chance to take this photo of the skyline from the water.

The Statue of Liberty was honestly a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but I’m still happy with the way this photo of it turned out - especially with the helicopter in the top right corner.

I had some time to myself on our third day, so I chose to explore the city a bit and found myself in Central Park.

I hope this is a non threatening look from this goose, because it got really close to me with my camera.

Last but not least, how do you visit New York City without getting a shot of the subway platform from this perspective?
